To me, this is very much Tex-Mex style rice. It doesn't have any heat to it, so if you are expecting that? Add your own, just sayin'.
However, that means I can serve it to anyone. I like spicy foods but most of my friends do not. I'm a Texan, born and raised and this reminds me of home.
These packages of Jasmine rice are very tasty and convenient. My family loves rice and we eat it several times a week. These packages are great for individual servings (although I think there are at least 2 servings per envelope). Especially great when I want a quick lunch or late night snack.
